On January 11, 2018, the Conservatory Lab Charter School participated in the Boston Public Schools Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration at the Strand Theater in Dorchester, MA. Our students performed a set of songs including Stevie Wonder’s “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout a Thing,” and finished with a performance of the national anthem.
We were honored to participate in a celebration that honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s legacy through music, dance, theatre, spoken word and media arts. Conservatory Lab thanks Myran Parker-Brass, Executive Director of the Arts at Boston Public Schools, for inviting us to join schools that represents Boston’s diverse cultures and communities.
