Our Director of Brass and Winds, Chris Schroeder, has worked with the teachers at the Margarita Muñiz Academy throughout the past six years since El Sistema programs began to establish themselves in the Boston area. 
Since that time, Mr. Schroeder has made a handful of trips to Muñiz to work with their high school musicians. 
This time, Mr. Schroeder worked with Muñiz’s Avi Mehta to create an experience for our Dudamel Winds to play side by side with their 10th grade band. During the visit, students had an opportunity to meet each other and share positive feedback on each groups playing.
